I Like Neat Words

Not to make the subject matter of late seem trite because it certainly is not, but I think discombobulate is a neat word. Also, flippant and melancholy. But the latter two are unrelated to the topic at hand, I just think they're neat. I apologize for the somewhat cryptic posts for my last two entries, but I wouldn't have posted anything had I not posted those two, because I have not been feeling like it the last couple days. I still don't really, but I thought I should at least post something so people know I am alive. Discombobulate means "v 1: cause to be confused emotionally [syn: bewilder, bemuse, throw] 2: be confusing or perplexing to; cause to be unable to think clearly; "These questions confuse even the experts"; "This question completely threw me"; "This question befuddled even the teacher" (thanks, dictionary.com). That's kind of how I have been the last few days and there is nothing I can do about it, which is all the more frustrating to me. I don't like seeing the people I love so much to be hurting in any way or for any reason and when I can't fix it, sometime I too tend to shut down. I know I can't fix everyone's problems, but it is hard to not try.

In other news less depressing, or maybe depressing in a much different way, Florida and UCLA are in the national championship. Gross. It's safe to say now that most peoples brackets are completely FUBAR. I read a good article on FoxSports about March Madness and pretty much how this Final Four was bullshit. I agree. Don't get me wrong, I love March and all the upsets and the insanity of it all, but usually all of that happens in the first and second rounds and by the time the Sweet 16 comes along, the rest of the brackets work themselves out so the teams most deserving of a national title make it to the Final Four. LSU, Florida, George Mason, and UCLA are definitely not the four best teams in the nation. I was glad to see George Mason do so well, but they were certainly not a Final Four team. I still think having a bracket system is much better than the bullshit BCS that college football has however, so if a Final Four like this is only once in a blue moon, I am content. Mostly. We'll just have to see what happens next year.

Yeah. I am still confused as to why things have been sucky for you lately. It sounds painful. Hope it continues to get better and you are less discombobulated--- yeah not spelled right AT ALL.

As for the rest of the post, I know NOTHING about sports so... heh. :) I'm no good at all
